Privacy, Disclosures & Use

You can use the calculator without an account, email address or payment details.

Plan data

Calculations run in your browser. The site saves your most recent plan in this browser’s local storage so it can be restored on return. Use “Clear saved plan” in the planner footer or clear the site’s browser storage to remove it. We do not operate a database of appliance plans.

Shared links and exports

“Copy plan link” places the appliance settings in a URL fragment after the # symbol. Anyone who receives the full link can read those settings. The fragment is processed locally by our code; it is not sent in the page’s HTTP request. Do not enter names, addresses or other personal information into appliance labels. Downloaded plans remain wherever your device saves them.

Hosting and external sites

The hosting provider may process ordinary requests, IP addresses, access logs or security-related data under its own policies. This release adds no advertising pixels, visitor analytics or nonessential tracking cookies. Retailer links open an external website with its own privacy and tracking practices. Our link attributes suppress referral headers where supported.

Affiliate disclosure

If a retailer approves our affiliate application, links marked “paid link” can earn us a commission on qualifying purchases. The disclosure beside the product list reflects whether approved links are active. Ordinary specification links remain available. Calculations and comparison order do not depend on commission rates. We have not physically tested the listed equipment.

Using the results

This is a planning estimate for ordinary plug-in appliances. You are responsible for supplying appropriate measurements and checking exact equipment compatibility. No guarantee of runtime, uninterrupted service or suitability is provided. Never use these results to design building wiring or support medical or life-safety equipment.
